Allow Me To Introduce Myself

My name is Nick Piersee. I chose this particular medium to get myself and my work out there. I also wanted to share my thoughts of the world. Be it everyday life or subjects of a little more depth, I have interesting ideas and views of the world.

I've always enjoyed creative writing and utilizing my gift. Everyone has at least one gift. I believe that my imagination is mine. As long as I can remember, I've had a very vivid imagination. For example, when I was younger, I played outside and with action figures like any other child. I played a lot differently than anyone else, though, I guarantee you. My favorite thing to do was play with my pro wrestling figures. My grandpa made me this awesome wrestling ring and I had just about every wrestler they made. I would write out the match-ups on paper and then those wrestlers would have their matches and so on. I kept all of that stuff. I have a few notebooks full of matches and storylines that I'd created. I thought at length about how the storylines would go and where to take "the show" next. That was my fun....creating. Like I said, vivid imagination.

I've wanted to be a professional wrestler since the age of ten. I LOVE pro wrestling. I watch both of the major companies that are on TV, TNA and WWE. I never miss a program. I don't just watch, I study it. I've been watching since the age of three, believe it or not. Now, though, I think I would make a better storyline writer than a wrestler.

Ideally, I would love to be a published writer. I would like to publish novels, books of short stories and books of my poetry. I would also like to create films. Some I might make from my books, while others would be original ideas. I just love to create. It's what I do.

Years ago, I went to a Young Writers Conference for a short story I'd written. It was cool to be asked to go. I never enjoyed school, though. I was always day dreaming. The classes that kept my interest were history and the ones that had a lot of creative writing assignments.

My brain is over-active. I'm always thinking of ideas. Be it for a film or a book or a pro wrestling storyline, I'm always thinking. I know with every fiber of my being that I am meant for more than just 9-5 work. To this point, I've had more jobs than most people have had in their entire lives. Work doesn't keep my interest. I'm still a day dreamer. I guess you could just call me, a dreamer.
