My Thoughts: Solution to the Economy Crisis?

I am not involved in politics, nor do I want to be. I'm not interested in kissing ANYONE'S ass. And I don't need to worry about tip-toeing around anyone so they'll vote for me next election. However, I think I have some pretty good ideas for turning the economy around. If you pay attention to my blog, then you know that I have already mentioned one idea in my "My Thoughts" on The Death Penalty.

First of all, I don't use drugs or frequent whore houses. I've never been arrested, either. My worst offense is being pulled over a handful of times for speeding. Don't get me wrong, I'm not perfect. I smoked weed in high school and drank underage. I want to point this out because I'm sure someone will just assume that I currently smoke weed.

With that said, I think we need to legalize marijuana. When I smoked, I never felt as impaired as I do when I'm drinking. That's a fact. I don't know if that was just me, but whatever. That's a plus, but doesn't have anything to do with the economy. So, the government will tax it. There's a lot of money rolling in. Am I right or am I right? Also, the government will manufacture it. Hmmm, I wonder how many jobs I just created. So, all the taxing will bring in money, unemployment plummets and A LOT of people can change their job title. They can change it from dealer to farmer. No more drug deals gone wrong, either. The government will also have to make sure that it's 100% pure marijuana. No more joints laced with whatever. Sounds like a win/win to me.

Alright, now let's legalize prostitution. How many women (and men? I'm not up on all of this) make truck loads of cash from prostitution? Oh, did I mention that it's TAX FREE?!? Let's organize this profession. No more street corners. Build establishments for this to go down. On street corners, these women are probably getting beaten, raped, robbed and who knows what else? That's a step in the right direction. A lot of construction workers will be employed in the process. Sounds like a winner so far. Let's continue. The next thing in my brilliant plan is that EVERYONE will have to be checked for STD's!! The women and their "John's". Yeah, sure this will be a huge pain in the ass for a lot of people, but the end result will be phenomenal. I get that business will be quite slow until everyone gets the okay from the doc, but once it's up and running....business will be unbelievable. Instead of scoring one or two guys a night, they'll have appointment books backed up for months. You do realize that most men don't think with their brains, right? Seriously....backed up for months. Think of all of the new job openings for doctors, secretaries, janitors and probably some other folks that I can't think of right now.

Love it or hate it, this is just good business.
